Introducing the new Star Photo section! Each quarter, a photo from across COVEY’s projects will be chosen to feature as our Star Photo! Today, it’s this brilliant photo from the Kiltwalk in April, which saw a fantastic effort from the team. Well done everyone!
Project Spotlight: The GROW Project
COVEY recently supported a group of S3 pupils from Kirkintilloch High School on a trip to Kelvingrove Art Gallery, as part of the GROW programme.
COVEY delivers this in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) in Glasgow.

A big welcome to Kiran, who recently joined COVEY as Volunteer Engagement Officer! Since our last newsletter, we’ve welcomed lots of lovely new colleagues; Caitlyn Vesey (Family Support Worker), Chioma Gregory (Financial Wellbeing Adviser), Lisa O’Leary (Cashback Connections Coordinator) and Rita Neale (Volunteer Engagement Manager). William Riddell joins as Cashback Connections Coordinator on 13 July, so we look forward to welcoming him to the team soon.

COVEY's recent fundraising efforts have generated an impressive £4,525 in support of our work. This includes a £400 donation from Costco, £125 raised through a raffle at ACT Scotland, and an outstanding £4,000 raised through this year's Kiltwalk. A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Kiltwalk and put in such amazing effort to raise this amount!!

We've continued to strengthen partnerships with local organisations and attend community events to raise awareness of COVEY, the support we provide and our volunteer opportunities.

Keiron is supported by Fiona within our Flourishing Families project. With Fiona’s help, he shared the many ways COVEY has made a difference to his life.

We're continuing to improve our digital processes so that all of our information is stored in one place. It’s been great to see COVEY in the local media!
Our new Cashback Connections project featured in the Hamilton Advertiser, Blantyre Telegraph and Daily Record.
The Renewable Energy Fund and Lisa’s Volunteer Spotlight were featured in the Hamilton Advertiser and Daily Record.
