Message from Lee
As we head into the festive break, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the whole COVEY team. This year you’ve supported families to overcome complex challenges and achieve positive outcomes, delivered consistently high-quality work across services, and helped COVEY keep moving forward - both in what we deliver and in how we deliver it.
We’ve secured significant new funding wins and begun to strengthen our operational foundations by rolling out updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), enhancing staff and volunteer training, and embedding more consistent digital systems and evaluation processes. All of this progress has been made possible thanks to your dedication and teamwork.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful for the compassion and resilience you bring to your roles every day. I hope the festive period gives you time to rest, recharge and enjoy time with loved ones. Wishing you a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2026!
Christmas Time Across COVEY!
A Winter Wonderland at New Lanark
Some of the families supported by COVEY came together and made some lovely memories at the Winter Wonderland event hosted by New Lanark. It was a fun filled day, with crafts, a Santa visit and the Alice in Scottieland panto! Watch the video above to see all the happy faces!
Volunteer Christmas Event
Thank you to all the volunteers who came along to our volunteer get together. It was a great night of laughter and fun! As well as our events, we’ll be trying out some online drop-in sessions for our volunteers throughout next year, so please stay tuned for details on those.
A Beautiful Performance by Lucy!
Please take a moment to listen to the beautiful singing voice of Lucy. COVEY helps Lucy within our Family Support Service. Refusing to let her visual impairment stand in the way of doing what she loves, Lucy took to the stage at her school’s concert. Inspiring!
