A COVEY Christmas!
Families, volunteers, children and young people from across COVEY embraced the spirit of the season as they took part in lots of Christmas celebrations.
The festivities began with families gathering for a magical Winter Wonderland event at New Lanark. Children and adults alike explored twinkling lights, festive decorations, and craft activities that brought families together, giving them some happy memories to look back on.
Parents and carers also enjoyed their own time to connect during a wreath making workshop, followed by a special group visit to the Tron Theatre for a lively Christmas pantomime! The outing provided laughter, entertainment, and a welcome opportunity for parents to relax and bond with one another.
COVEY also hosted its own Winter Wonderland celebration specifically for children and young people, filled with games, festive crafts, and holiday treats that sparked excitement and community spirit.
Our Flourishing Families Group enjoyed a trip to the bowling, while their Peer Mentors took on a very challenging Escape Room!
Meanwhile, volunteers rounded up the celebrations with a Christmas gathering that included a holiday quiz, prize draw, delicious treats, and space to share experiences and get to know fellow volunteers.
These seasonal events highlighted COVEY’s commitment to building meaningful connections and creating safe spaces for families, carers, young people, and volunteers alike. Each gathering strengthened relationships and celebrated the dedication of everyone involved in supporting the local community throughout the year.
Thank you to everyone at COVEY!
