What Been Happening at COVEY?

There’s been lots going on across our Projects recently…

Parent Partnership Project

Some of the young people supported within our one-to-one sessions have been developing their skills and interests in go karting and golfing!

Some of the parent/carers supported within our group sessions took part in a flower arranging workshop, creating beautiful bouquets to take home!

One of the families supported across the project headed along to Celtic Park and enjoyed a tour together, helping them create new memories together! This experience was kindly donated to COVEY.

North Lanarkshire Befriending

COVEY’s group befriending sessions in North Lanarkshire have been busy exploring their creativity through messy play and junk modelling. They also had the opportunity to do some science experiments, using different liquids and solids to explore chemical reactions!

One of our groups explored their local community, completing research into opportunities available around them

Young Ambassadors

Our Young Ambassadors took part in a public speaking and creative storytelling workshop. They explored improvisation and presentation skills, helping them to develop their confidence. They also had the chance to explore how digital technology can enhance communication skills.

Young Adults ANGELS Group

Sam, a member of the Young Adult ANGELS group, showcased his beautiful photography in an exhibition at The Haberdashery in Glasgow. Other members of the group took a trip into Glasgow to see Sam’s impressive work and show their support.

Airdrie ANGELS Group

The young participants enjoyed a recent trip to Flip Out and a Movie Night with a movie of their choice and popcorn!

COVEY Connect

COVEY Connect visited the Douglas Victoria Bowling Club, where they took part in some lessons, developing brand new skills and interests! The members at the club were incredibly supportive and taught our young participants lost of new tips!

Building Brighter Futures

Flourishing Families
