Message from Lee Johnstone

As we reach the end of the year, I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to every one of our COVEY volunteers. Your commitment to supporting children, young people and families truly inspires us all.

This festive season reminds us of the importance of connection, kindness and community – values you demonstrate consistently through your volunteering.

You help reduce isolation, build resilience, spark confidence and create opportunities that many people we support would not otherwise have.

Whether you’ve been mentoring a young person, walking alongside a family during a challenging time, or being a steady and reassuring presence in someone's life, the time and commitment you give make a real and lasting difference.

On behalf of the whole COVEY team, thank you. You make an extraordinary difference and we truly appreciate you.

Wishing you a very happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Fire Reach Programme

Some of COVEY’s young people completed their Fire Skills portfolio at Coatbridge Fire Station! This was a fantastic opportunity, seeing the group develop skills in life saving, team work, communication and rescue response.

Highlights from across COVEY

From decorating biscuits and creating positivity cups to fishing and even harvesting crops, there’s been lots happening across our Projects.
